In
order to encourage community members
to stay active year-round and between
Darke County Wellness Challenge
races, we have created the Move
In the Darke program that
enables participants to track their
miles logged per month to reach
a year end goal. Keep track of the
miles you run, walk or swim. You
can submit these miles each month
before the 5th day of the following
month. You can also bike but you
can only submit 1/3 of your biking
miles.
NOTE:
These can be any miles you purposely
run, walk, swim or bike for exercise,
including races. Please DO NOT submit
miles associated with daily life
that a tracking device, such as
a Fitbit, would count.
Those
who log 300, 500, and 1,000 miles
throughout the year will be recognized
for their achievements.
Miles
should be submitted by the 5th of
each month for the previous months
miles, including miles you do on
your own and/or at a competitive
event. Total miles for each individual
will be posted monthly.
